Chris, the manager at the White Rock location, was rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to address a simple customer concern regarding my order. I requested extra cheese on my pizza, and instead of helping me understand why the pizza appeared significantly different from previous orders where extra cheese was clearly added, he chose to argue with me rather than provide customer support. When I politely asked for his name, his response was, “For what? I’m not giving that to you,” which I found completely inappropriate and unacceptable from someone in a management position. Unfortunately, this is the second time I have experienced this exact type of interaction with Chris. In contrast, every other employee I have encountered at this location has been pleasant, professional, and helpful. Isaac, in particular, took the time to respectfully explain how the appearance of extra cheese can vary depending on when and how it is added to the pizza. That level of professionalism and willingness to help is what customers should consistently experience. I’m sure customer service is important to Zalat, and if Chris is representing the White Rock location in a leadership capacity, I would strongly reconsider returning as a customer. While I do not normally suggest removing someone from a team, there are times when leadership behavior negatively impacts both customers and the integrity of the business. Based on my experiences, Chris does not appear to value teamwork or customer satisfaction. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to improve the customer experience at this location.

Late night delivery in the pouring rain was very much appreciated, kudos to the driver- they showed up right on time and the order was fulfilled correctly. The Sweet revenge is such a BOMB combination of flavors with quality meat, sweet and savory bacon/onion jam dollops, and perfectly crunchy/chewy crust. 10/10 would recommend Late night delivery in the pouring rain was very much appreciated. I am writing review purely for delivery comments. The food I’ve had each time in person has been delicious! Just so everyone is aware for delivery, they are wholly reliant on 3rd party deliverers to place your order, and WILL NOT notify you if no one wants to deliver it. If no deliverer wants to deliver your pizza, they just will wait until some random driver wants to deliver (which never happened for us). I had a scheduled order at 6pm, and when I called at 6:45pm, they said “oh no one wants to deliver it yet, sorry”. Disappointing because I LOVE their pizza, but maybe just do pick-up and opt out of delivery.

I don't know the girl's name. The one with the tats and the beautiful smile. She made my day! The pizza is always GREAT! But the extra step to cater to my kid daughter's pickiness is above and beyond! We love Zalat!

I love Zalat, at least I normally do, except, this location nowhere near compares to the Central expressway, Addison or the fitzhugh ave locations! I no longer live near the Addison & central expressway locations which is a bummer because that means if I want Zalat I have to travel 35+ mins one way just to get to either of these locations. Which I refuse to do, so when we get to have Zalat it’s absolutely a wonderful treat compared to us having our regular local dominos takeout. You can imagine my disappointment when we realized that our typical dominos order far surpassed last night’s Zalat order! I decided we’d make the 40 min round trip, because it was supposed to be worth it of course, except I wish I’d just made the 10 min round trip to dominos and paid half of what I paid for and gotten double the toppings and actual flavor!!! This order was ridiculously priced, extra cheese which cost extra $ was nowhere to be found, same for the additional toppings which also cost additional $$. They were non existent. Far and few in between. Ordered half pepperoni and salami, but it seemed more like just plain cheese pizza with 5 pieces of salami/pepperoni randomly thrown on. Sweet revenge is usually my personal favorite, but same thing here with the salami and flavor, they were non existent. Overall pizza was horrific, hard, dry, and somehow even worse the next day which is typically sometimes better. Disappointingly a huge waste of money, time and gas!

First time ordering delivery, and it was a great experience. The app was easy to use, delivery was prompt, and the food arrived hot and delicious. The delivery driver was friendly and pleasant. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish.

We ordered wings through DoorDash and never received them. When we called to report the issue, the employee simply told us to contact DoorDash for a refund. We asked if the mistake was on their end, and she replied, “I mean, it was our fault,” then hung up. There was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience or any attempt at customer service, despite the error clearly being theirs. A little kindness and professionalism would have gone a long way.
